Roseburg Municipal Solid Waste Landfill

The Roseburg Landfill began receiving waste in 1932, and from 1932 until 1975 it was privately operated as a burning dump. In the late 1960s, burning operations ceased. Douglas County (“County”) has operated the site since 1975, and currently receives an annual average of 80,000 and 20,000 tons per year of municipal solid waste (MSW) and construction/demolishment waste (CDW) respectively.

VIKEK under a prime contract is completing assessment of the landfill gas collection and control system and providing implementation support for improvements necessary to achieve operational performance targets pursuant to Oregon State and ownership requirements.
